Foxconn closes its plants in China
Referring to the Chinese news site , Foxconn, after losing control of the suicide situation at a factory in Shenzhen province, and after a two-time increase in employee wages, decided to close its factories in China.
According to preliminary estimates, 800,000 workers will remain unemployed. The Company itself claims that not numerous suicides affected this decision, but only the desire to relocate all of its plants to Taiwan, Vietnam and India.
