Attention to all Khabrovites! A contest of high-tech IT projects in need of a data center infrastructure has started. We have allocated $ 12,000 to support the winners of the contest. With this money, the best participants will have the opportunity to use the resources of one of the most prestigious data centers in St. Petersburg for a total of 30,000 rubles. monthly throughout the year. Since we do not yet know what the response will be and how many projects will take part in the competition, we assume that this amount based on the results of the competition can be divided between the winners in the amount of up to 5 projects.
Who can participate in the competition?
Companies that are represented on the habrahabr.ru website and users with the amount of “karma” sufficient to publish posts are allowed to participate in the competition.
Up to three different projects, both those in a state of launch and those developing, ready to migrate to a new infrastructure, can participate in the competition.
By what criteria will the best projects be selected?
We are not interested in template hosting projects. We focus on manufacturability and innovation. Preference is given to those who are going to host applications that require a complex configuration of the information environment.
Do you want to sell your software product on a rental scheme or in a SaaS model? You know how to coolly set up the infrastructure and deploy a popular business application and want to get paid for it by replicating such decisions? Or are you just going to move your own business application to the data center? Then this contest is for you! What will winners get?
Winners of the competition will have the opportunity to start their project without the cost of organizing IT infrastructure. We allocate the Tier III category Data Center resources to the winners on the innovative VMware platform, the use of which will allow us to quickly organize our own virtual data center with full-fledged virtual VMware servers integrated into a separate local network. In this case, the configuration and creation of each new machine will take you a matter of minutes, and changing the amount of resources consumed by the server (memory, hard disk, number and frequency of processors) will be possible to carry out remotely, without stopping the server and applications running on it!
The amount of resources that you can receive monthly throughout the year will depend on the prize place that you take. For example, what infrastructure can you deploy, having received 18,000 p. per month, let's say for the 1st place?
