This post is entitled Steve Ballmer’s famous saying for a reason. Today, an addition happened in the family of mobile applications for Windows Mobile - we released AlterGeo for Windows Mobile 6.1 and higher (beta).

AlterGeo's foundation for Windows Mobile is geo-positioning. Using its own hybrid positioning technology (WiFi + GSM + WiMax + IP), AlterGeo will determine your location and tell places nearby, find out how far your friends are from you and what people are nearby. Since Google, Yandex.Maps and OpenStreetMaps are integrated in AlterGeo, you can work with the application anywhere in the world.



The application is available for free, you can download it from the site: altergeo.ru/windows_mobile
Soon the application can be downloaded from MarketPlace on your phone (section "social networks").
