The German manufacturer Wortmann AG announced the start of sales of the 17-inch laptop Terra Mobile 1745. The model is focused on corporate customers and in the basic version is offered for 499 euros. Low price due to low performance. However, the main thing in a typed office typewriter is screen size.
The machine is built on an Athlon 64 TF-20 processor with a frequency of 1.6 GHz, equipped with 2 GB of RAM, an integrated ATI Radeon X1200 graphics card and a 250 GB hard drive.
The laptop display is 17-inch with a standard resolution of 1440 × 900 pixels.
Among other things, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules (optional), a DVD burner, a 1.3 megapixel camera and a 7-in-1 card reader can be noted.
The laptop weighs 2.9 kg and is controlled by the freeware OS FreeDOS. At the request of the customer, it is possible to install Windows, however, this will affect the price.
