Kaspersky Anti-Virus has recorded Google AdSense in Trojans
Users of Kaspersky Lab’s antivirus products today encountered an unusual problem: due to a mistake made in the new antivirus databases, the company's antiviruses “detected” the Trojan in the Google AdSense system. Thus, many users of these antiviruses that visited sites with Google contextual advertising ad units today received messages about the detection of Trojan.JS.Redirector.ar trojan codes.
The problem, apparently, lies in the code of the Javascript file responsible for issuing the ad unit from pagead2.googlesyndication.com . At the moment, the Kaspersky Lab technical support forum has already posted about a hundred comments from perplexed users.
A company representative said that at the moment the company is already aware of the situation with Google AdSense and technical experts are working on the assembly of updated databases for antiviruses. So far, they are giving up any additional details in the LC.
Recall that just a couple of days ago, the company's antivirus, unexpectedly for users, wrote to the phishing sites the anonymizer bit.ly, used on the Twitter network. The company admitted that they recorded bit.ly in the black list of phishing sites by mistake.
