imageACM-R5 is a robot snake with improved dust protection, waterproofing and a rigid frame, able to function in dry and dusty environments, water and other liquids. It consists of several modules, with small passive wheels that allow the robot to move smoothly on a flat or rough surface.

The ACM-R5 is capable of swimming in an underwater environment. The front module is equipped with a wireless camera mounted on a special mechanism that constantly maintains the orientation of the lens. Designed for underwater research or work in hard-to-reach areas. Official presentation of the robot: video , pdf . Developer: HiBot Corp.
