Personalization for Anonymous
When Google introduced personalized search four years ago , it only worked for registered users who turned on the Web History option, but now Google is changing its behavior dramatically. From now on, personal search settings will be valid for all users, even after the end of the session (when you clicked “Sign out”) and even for those who have not yet set up a Google Account. User identification is carried out through anonymous cookies.
This rule is the default for all users. If you do not want to see anonymous personalization, you need to disable it in the settings , or simply delete the cookie.
The search history for each anonymous Google user is stored for 180 days (for a registered user - forever, until he himself removes it). For more information on personalized searches and new policies, see the official Google Blog .
