Launched with the new version of Windows Mobile 6.5, the online store program Windows Mobile Marketplace was originally aimed at supporting the platform WM 6.5. Support for earlier versions of WM 6 and 6.1 was announced and finally the Marketplace has the opportunity to work with them.

If you have a smartphone based on Windows Mobile 6 and higher, then going from it to the address mp.windowsphone.com you can install a small client that will allow you to navigate the store. At the time the store was launched, about 250 applications were registered in it, today, after a month, there are already more than 800 applications (the number varies for different countries).

It’s a pity, but so far only free applications are available for Russian accounts.
