DigitalGlobe, a rocket with Bing logos and a new generation of WorldView-2 satellite, was launched into space to begin filming the Earth’s surface for the Bing Maps service. Previously, a satellite of the previous generation of the same company was launched to fill the Google map service. The new satellite for Bing Maps has a much better resolution of 1.8 meters, which will allow you to "see the stones on Red Square" in Moscow, as one of the blogs on Runet wrote.
