Interview with Microsoft Patterns & Practices Team (mp3)
As part of Microsoft's annual Patterns & Practices series of events , Patterns & Practices Summit Russia took place on September 21-22, 2009 in Moscow, where Alexander Orlov was present as a special correspondent for the portal www.it4business.ru .
Alexander Orlov from the Moscow office of Microsoft.
On September 21, the shuttle of the Krylatsky Hills business park dropped me off at the bus stop of the business park itself. Usually I directed my stops to building No. 4, where the Intel office was located, but this time I went through the mirrored doors of building No. 1. Directly to the Microsoft office, where I was waiting for a conversation with the key managers of the MS Patterns & Practices (PnP) team - part-time, the main speakers of PnP Summit, who was appointed the next day.
TomorrowAjoy Krynshamurthy (Lead Product Planner), Grigory Melnik (Senior Program Manager) and Don Smith (Program Manager) were supposed to give presentations on the PnP product and best practices that they use as a team, and today the three of them sat in the conference room and I had more than an hour to ask them about all this in detail.
The conversation turned out to be so interesting that we went beyond the hour. But we think that it will be interesting for you to listen to what we talked about:
