Apple UK “divulged” OS X Snow Leopard sales start date — August 28, 2009

Proponents of the seductive version of “System 10.6 on Friday the 28th” unexpectedly got a new argument at their disposal: a page with information on buying OS X Snow Leopard as part of the Up-to-Date program (the ability to upgrade the operating system to latest Macs at the lowest price). The main highlight of this find was the start date of shipment of the ordered disks - on August 28, 2009, a month earlier than the release of Windows 7.
