About flash banners
When I see a banner that interests me, I always click on it. But in different ways:
1) If the site on which the banner is located is not interesting to me - I click the left mouse button. Sometimes, of course, it’s annoying that a new tab opens or, God forbid, a new window. But this is not the worst.
2) If the site on which the banner is located is good and interesting, then I don’tI want to open it in the same tab. And I click the mouse wheel. And what is going on? Nothing. Then I right-click to select "open in a new tab." And what is going on? I am shown “About Flash Player” and a couple of points that I have never used in my life (and I can’t even imagine the situation when I need these points). What am I doing to still look at what the banner advertises? Usually - nothing (unless, of course, there is "an offer that cannot be rejected at all").
For example, the Iconza banner on the Habré from above does not allow opening itself in a new tab with the usual methods. And the banner is interesting and beautiful. And the resource is very good (IMHO). But I found out about this (no, I did not click on the banner) only after someone wrote about it, Ikonze, a post and there I saw a link. Which can be opened in a separate window.
And the laptops on the right are still not clicked. The same as most banners on Habré.
Moral:
1) Maybe banner developers will still provide the ability to open a banner in a new tab? It’s not difficult, is it?
2) An alternative for website developers: maybe there’s some way (I don’t really imagine it myself, but still) to make all banners completely clickable on my website?
For some reason, it just seems to me that I'm not the only one ... And with a lot of traffic, even 5% of transitions can be large amounts that can be saved or lost. In general, think about it. Thanks.
