nVidia does not x86 processor
In early March of this year, information appeared on the Web (with reference to the words of one of the top managers of nVidia) that the company was ready to begin development and the early release of x86-compatible processors. Unfortunately, these rumors remained rumors. nVidia completely refuted them.
Jen-Sung Huang, president and chief executive of nVidia , said in an interview with The York Times that developing an x86 chip is by no means a priority. In addition, Mr. Huang said that “if nVidia is developing such a product, then he knows nothing about it.”
So for now, you can forget about the competition between nVidia and the giants of the CPU building. NVidia has so many lines of work and good products. Graphics Accelerators, Ion, CUDA, Tegra ... Nevertheless, sorry. I personally would not mind at all in a couple of years trying a bunch of CPU and GPU from nVidia.
PS By the way, in the same interview, the president of nVidia called Intel a lying scammer who abuses their dominant market position. It’s not so bad.
