Q-Sound - Solar Powered Bluetooth Headphones

Romanian Stephen Shepeleff proposed a general idea on the surface. Namely, to combine headphones, a Bluetooh headset and a solar panel.

The resulting gadget designer called Q-Sound. According to the author’s calculations, a pair of nickel batteries of 400 mAh each is built into the headphones. If you listen to music, the charge will last for 40 hours. Well, solar panels will recharge the main batteries. Again, according to Mr. Shepelev’s calculations, an hour of walking in the sun is equivalent to 2.5 hours of listening to music.
Like it or not, it turned out beautifully. And the only question that I personally do not find an answer: why was it necessary to use nickel-metal hydride batteries? Type of chip?
