and the Saatchi Gallery in London announce a joint Photography Contest, with the help of which we plan to find talented student photographers and provide them with an unprecedented opportunity to exhibit their work both online and offline. Winning photos will be available to millions of users as themes for the personalized iGoogle page, as well as presented at a specially organized exhibition in the Saatchi Gallery. The main winner will also receive a prize of £ 5,000 and the opportunity to spend a day in the company of the famous photographer Martin Parr.

In order to take part in the contest, you must upload 5 photos to www.google.com/photographyprizeuntil May 31, 2009. 36 best works will be put up for open online voting on June 11. The 6 participants with the most votes will travel to London to open an exhibition of their work at the Saatchi Gallery. The final winner will be determined by a professional jury consisting of art critics and artists. The jury will include Idris Khan, Martin Parr, Michael Hoppen, Susanna Brown, Tim Marlow and Mariella Frostrup.

Good luck!
