Ukrainian startup UAProm.net received an investment from Naspers

    The founders of the Internet services UAProm.net and RUProm.net announced the registration of UAPROM together with the Allegro Group, owned by the famous company Naspers, which also owns 43% of the Russian portal Mail.ru, 100% of the Polish Gadu-Gadu and many other online projects . In exchange for investments, Allegro Group received a 51% stake in UAPROM.

    The parties announced that all the funds raised will go to the development of the service, and the founders committed themselves to work in the company over the development of projects for three years.

    UAProm.net and RUProm.net resources are aimed at representatives of all types of businesses and allow them to simplify access to the Internet market by providing tools for self-creating a corporate website with the placement of goods and services offered by the company, and advertising campaigns.

    UAProm.net and RUProm.net were launched in the spring of 2008. Currently, over 40 thousand companies from Ukraine, Russia and other countries use the services. Paid services are used by more than 100 companies, and the total attendance of two portals exceeds 20 thousand people per day.
