An information leak occurred from Apple - one of the employees posted a couple of screenshots of the service menu from the next iPhone, and the “compass” option is clearly visible there. Actually, information about the appearance of the electronic compass (magnetometer) came earlier from unofficial sources, and some experts say that such an upgrade of the iPhone looks obvious.
