Ringtone Manager on Windows Mobile

Perhaps someone remembers the topic about the wToneManager program from wdk . A lot of time has passed, and now the author has made improvements. Alas, due to minus karma, wdk cannot publish this topic myself, so I publish it as one of the users.

The program now knows how to put a melody on incoming SMS. For owners of devices with WM5 on board there are minor restrictions - the melody should be in wav format, and there should be free space in the internal memory of the device, since the melody will be copied to the \\ Windows folder. It is also desirable that wav be stored at 44100 Hz, Mono, PCM. WM6 users have nothing to worry about.

Now you can change the melodies of standard alarms. Here, the restrictions for SMS in WM5 apply to everyone without exception, the melody should be in wav, and it will be copied to \\ Windows. Perhaps WM7 will still make the full path to the melody for alarms, as happened with SMS in the transition WM5-WM6, but so far only.

For people experiencing difficulties with free space, made a separate lightweight assembly that does not have built-in listening to tunes, clicking on Play will open an external player.

That’s basically it. There are few changes, but I think they are worthy of the new version.
