Coffee'n'Code. The first pancake.
So, the first meeting took place. And this, perhaps, can already be considered an achievement.
Let's share our impressions :)
First of all, of course, I want to thank the speakers. Personally, I am a gratz guy (sorry, I don’t know your name) who, as I understand it, impromptu made a report on android. That was interesting.
Nevertheless, I want to note a few drawbacks.
Firstly, it was necessary to conduct a stage of acquaintance. Nevertheless, it seems to me that many have come for this.
The number of people turned out to be unexpectedly large (however, this is a pleasant surprise). As a result, there were some problems with the placement. The speaker’s laptop screen could see a maximum of one third of those who wanted it.
This could have been avoided by connecting large monitors in advance.
In the case of the django report, the problem was quickly solved by organizing a screencast on a large monitor by VNC. In the future, I suggest that the speakers take care of setting up the VNC server so that everyone can connect from their laptop.
Otherwise, in my opinion, everything was worthy, interesting, and the place, by the way, is very pleasant. The first pancake, I want to believe, not lump =)
Thanks to all participants! I will support your endeavor with all my strength.
UPDATE: post pictures, leave links in the comments;)
