The question of the compactness limit of netbooks seems to be resolved. Korean manufacturer UMID, announced the launch of the mbook netbook market - the smallest and lightest laptop in the world.

The weight of new items with a battery does not exceed 315 grams - much less. Despite the children's dimensions - 158x94x19 mm, the model boasts quite decent parameters. The screen size is 4.8 inches. Resolution - 1024 x 600 pixels. The battery provides up to 6 hours of uptime.

Like most modern netbooks, the mbook is powered by Intel Atom. Depending on the configuration, the processor frequency ranges from 1.1 to 1.3 gigahertz.

The amount of RAM in 1 GB and 32 GB on an SSD-hard drive is enough for typing, browsing the Web and receiving pictures in the DMB standard. In addition, the device is equipped with 3G, Bluetooth 2.0 and WiBro modules (South Korean version of WiMax), as well as a four-in-one card reader.

The UMID mbook is already on sale in Korea for about $ 534 apiece.
