Google allowed offline access to Gmail

Google has announced that access to its Gmail email service can now be obtained without being connected to the Web. The launch of this function, which allows you to use Gmail without a network connection, has been expected since mid-2007. Offline access to Gmail is provided using Google Gears technology, which saves the application on the user's hard drive, reports AP. In offline mode, users can read incoming messages, as well as write letters that will be automatically sent immediately after resuming communication with the Network. To use the new Gmail feature, in the “Settings” menu of the service you need to activate the “Gmail Offline” function
