HP Mini 2140 - work on bugs

Hewlett-Packard brought to mind its ultra-compact ten-inch laptop HP Mini 2133 . The new version is called the HP Mini 2140 and differs from its predecessor by a new processor (Intel Atom 1.6 GHz instead of VIA c7) and a screen with a higher resolution (1366 × 768 pixels versus 1024 × 576 in the old model).

The old screen, however, is available (with it a laptop is a bit cheaper), but only as an option. Also, the computer has 2 GB of RAM, a 160 GB hard drive or an 80 GB solid state drive.

The HP Mini 2140 supports the latest Wi-Fi standard, 802.11n, and comes preloaded with Windows Vista, SuSE Linux or DOS. In the US, the car will begin to be sold this month at a price of $ 499.

At the same time as the HP Mini 2140, accessories were also released: a docking station, a mobile audio system and an external DVD-RW drive.

PS Let's hope that with the new processor it will no longer be so godless to slow down under Vista.
