    It took here to translate a salary certificate for the Austrian Embassy into English. (For those who are not in the know, but going there - the Austrian embassy introduced such a requirement recently). Well, I don’t think it’s tricky, because I know the language in a solid three, as a matter of fact I only read technical texts, I decided to use an online translator with the idea to then file the results with a file. I stuffed the text in translate.google.com - and was surprised :)

    Here are the results of several translations:

    Salary is 50 thousand rubles . -> Salaries of 50 dollars .

    Salary is 50 rubles . -> Wages of 50 rubles.

    Then I decided to check in hryvnias:

    Salary is 50 thousand hryvnia . -> Wages of 50 thousand USD .

    Salary is 50 hryvnia . -> Wages of 50 hryvnias.

    To be honest, I neighing over such results. Moreover, they (the results) are clearly not random in nature. I was especially interested in what criterion is chosen between the words wages and salaries, if there are experts in English - what is the difference between them? All that he could dig himself - wages - the salary of workers, salaries - the salaries of employees (we draw conclusions, especially about rubles). In millions, rubles are already transferred correctly, but hryvnias are still in dollars :)

    PS 50 is absolutely random.
    PPS and I also thought here that with such courses, I would love to work at the Google representative office in Ukraine, provided that the salary is more than 1 thousand hryvnias, but in Russia - well, its nafik :)
