User-entered information is sacred
Once again about the same. There is one simple rule:
User-entered information is sacred. Every effort must be made so that it does not disappear and is easily accessible.
Is it really so hard to understand, remember and apply? (A rhetorical question for program developers)
Why, in the super-duper Opera browser itself, do I lose all text entered into the form due to accidentally closing a tab or freezing a program ?! (Rit. Q.)
Is there really no room for a kilobyte God forbid text in the 21st century? Why do developers have the time and desire to do some minor baubles without providing the basic functionality properly? (pv)
Update
He cited the opera as an example only. Any browser and any software must ensure the safety of the information entered by the user. By default and without additional effort on the part of the user.
