Mighty Kid - TrueRMS Multimeter Aneng AN8001
A few years ago, it was impossible to imagine that a TrueRMS multimeter with automatic range switching, capable of measuring direct and alternating voltage, direct and alternating current, resistance, capacitance and frequency with 6000 readings and 0.5% accuracy can cost less than $ 15. Today this device is in my hand.
After my exact multimeter stopped being accurate due to some kind of malfunction, I was about to buy the same one again, but I found a small Aneng AN8001 instrument made on the same chip and promised to be just as accurate.
Measured parameters, ranges and accuracy:
In fact, the multimeter is much more accurate than stated.
I checked the measurement of constant voltage using a reference voltage source on the AD584 .
In the first column, the value of the reference voltage, in the second - the readings of the multimeter.

Accuracy is about 0.1 V (a device tested with the help of a standard showed exactly 1 volt less than the real voltage, the difference between that device and this is exactly 1 volt).
Compared with the Holdpeak HP890CN, built on the same chip, the Aneng AN8001 is very small.
Unlike large devices, the small multimeter does not have a rubber case for the case, but there is a stand.
Included probes, instructions and a bag with a fairly strong chemical smell.
Probes are equipped with caps that cover almost the entire tip of the probe.
If you press Hold for a long time, the backlight turns on for 12 seconds.
There is a sound dial, which beeps for another 0.5 seconds after opening the contacts. The device is very fast - 3 measurements per second. After 15 minutes, auto-off is triggered (first warns with a single peep, and then turns off after a minute if you do not press the button).
You do not laugh at me, but having carefully studied this device, I ordered another one “in reserve” yesterday.
Bought for $ 14.78 with free shipping here . The seller gave a normal track code and the multimeter came in less than three weeks.
ps There is also a model AN8002 with a thermometer, but AN8004 is not worth taking - it is on a different chip. Aneng AN8001 has two twin brothers from other manufacturers: ZT101 and RM101.
