100 thousand dollars jetpack

The world's first jetpack, suitable for use in practice, was created by New Zealand inventor Glenn Martin (Glenn Martin). In the near future he intends to start selling his invention.
True, the satchel he created cannot be called reactive. Its “heart” is a regular 200 horsepower gasoline engine. This engine accelerates the rotors that create lift. But the word jetpack (jetpack) is so firmly entrenched in popular culture that in other words, journalists do not name the novelty. Still, “jetpacks” were used by such celebrities as, for example, Duke Newkam, James Bond and Robocop. You can fly at low altitude on a pseudo-jetpack for half an hour, control is carried out using two handles.
Forty-eight-year-old Glenn Martin dreamed of creating a jetpack from the age of five. It took 27 years to realize the dream in metal. The first prototype of the knapsack was ready in 1997, and the wife of the inventor became the first test pilot. Glenn then tested the satchel on his son Harrison. The test program is now complete. The inventor plans to demonstrate his brainchild at the EAA AirVenture airshow, after which he intends to begin selling the world's first working jetpack at a price of $ 100,000 apiece.
