User Ways

In this topic, I want to speculate on the topic of what methods of work exist to increase the activity and user loyalty. More than sure that the most interesting will be in the comments.

So, for starters, I want to outline the goals: what is this for? ..

    1. For user activity. In order for something (forum, news, blogs, and so on) to write and comment. And also to improve the quality of “something.” ”

    2. When a user is activated on a resource, his attachment to the resource and therefore his loyalty increases by itself.

Now the following features are known that affect user activity :

    1. From user activity, it increases its capabilities.
2 from the user's activity - improved opinion about him by others.

    Examples from practice :
We won’t go far, take the same Habr. There is karma and habrasila.
An example of an online game combats.ru. There are various levels. The higher the level, the stronger you are and the more interesting you are to play.
Example forums: the more posts you have, the more credibility you have.

Trying to delve into this topic, unfortunately, did not find anything worthwhile. All that is on this topic goes exclusively to psychology. This is understandable.

Everything goes to the topic of "motivation." Well, then it’s worth remembering about the needs:

The pyramid of needs is a hierarchical system of human needs, compiled by the American psychologist A. Maslow. When satisfying his needs, a person moves like a ladder, moving from a low level to a higher one.
    1. (lowest) Physiological needs: hunger, thirst, sex drive, etc.
    2. Need for security: a sense of confidence, getting rid of fear and failure.
    3. The need for belonging and love.
    4. The need for respect: achievement of success, approval, recognition.
    5. Cognitive needs: know, be able, explore.
    6. Aesthetic needs: harmony, order, beauty.
    7. (highest) The need for self-actualization: the realization of their goals, abilities, the development of their own personality.

Apparently, the needs with which we must work begin from the 4th point and below.
Have any motivational systems been invented to increase the activity and loyalty of users on the Internet, except for those that I have already voiced? Perhaps our “collective mind” will come to some new ideas?
