Actually, the time for final exams has already passed, and their results are already known. Nevertheless, I want to share an example of the enchanting design of HTML-code on the site.
Introduction
It just so happened that when I was waiting for the results of the last exam (this is math, but not the point), then my laptop didn’t have Internet connection facilities except GPRS. Well, at least something.
I use the Opera, and therefore immediately noticed that the login page on the passport data (http://fed.egeinfo.ru/ege) weighs about 200 kilobytes, not including pictures and scripts, and the main part of the page was not displayed until it was fully loaded ( which took quite a while for my connection).

I decided to take a look at the source code of this page.
And I saw this: (it’s pointless to embed the picture in the topic. The picture shows the code with the minimized font size)

In other words - what did I think to see in the code of the page, 200 KB in size? A bunch of javascripts (advertising, ajax, what else ...), well, or a lot of text (which would be hidden on the page) ...
And here are the tabs. Just stop a hundred tabs delimiting the elements of several selects to make it easier for the layout designer to read the code (this is a theory, in this case, of course, we are not talking about any convenience).
I deleted most of the tabs - the page weight became ~ 30 kb. And then they wonder why the site hangs constantly ... Interestingly, the server traffic in the days of laying out the results caught up with the daily vkontakte.ru traffic?
These are nanotechnologies.
