Cessation of ULTRA Electronics operations

The ULTRA Electronics computer store, known for its lowest prices, ceases operations due to circumstances beyond its control. Since June 2008, the premises of the store on Kondratyevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg have been rented by Combrig. The new tenant intends to fully retain the retail format of ULTRA Electronics and by the end of June 2008 to open a retail store under these brands under the Yulmart brand. In turn, ULTRA Electronics AG St. Petersburg CJSC will refund money for paid but not shipped goods of corporate clients. And it will also close debts to buyers on the equipment handed over in the guarantee.

Shops in other regions have also ceased or are ceasing to operate.

For reference: in the middle of 2007, for a month, the stores of the ULTRA Electronics network worked intermittently. As it turned out later, this was due to the arrest of all the company's warehouses. All events are quite explainable by the fact that low prices were provided by the gray import of equipment into the territory of Russia. The audit was ordered by competitors, as the company had huge momentum in this market, as well as profit. However, the "sinful" ULTRA was not only that. More details in the comments on this topic.
