How do you keep your passwords?
For a long time I used a simple, like all ingenious, password system. For mail - one password, for all other services - a second. If the second is taken away, it’s not scary, nothing serious will be lost. But now the problem has become more acute - there are services on which it is very undesirable to lose an account (domains, hosting, etc.). For each such “critical” service, it is advisable to create your own unique and fairly complex password. But remembering them all is practically unrealistic. Must be stored online, in case of a malfunction and for the possibility of access from different computers. What are you doing? Below are ideas that I thought of and why I don't like them.
GmailThis method is used now. The minus is haphazard (you need to search by letters all the time), the application is too heavy (downloading it with every password, especially at low Internet speeds, is doubtful pleasure).
Google Docs More systemic (if you use tables), but still too heavy.
Google Notebook, Google Boomarks. Already better, especially notepad, there is a plugin for FF. Minus - works on http, not on https, i.e. can be theoretically intercepted.
File somewhere on FTP with encryption. Just uncomfortable. A separate client is needed, which means that if necessary, you cannot get quick access from another computer.
Special Services. A short google gave at least two services - www.clipperz.com andwww.agatra.com . This raises the question of simple trust - although both services vow to maintain privacy, both of them are written in the rules that if something happens they don’t answer at the bottom. Plus I really liked the warning in the rules of one of the services:
That is, if I understand correctly, using encryption that cannot be decrypted, I break the law.
At the moment, for myself, if no one tells me the best solution, I decided to trust one of the specialists. services.

Some countries do not allow their citizens to use strong encryption technology. These countries include Belarus, China, France, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam. This list is not complete and will not be regularly updated.
