Single login for Wikipedia

After several years of discussion and development, when everyone was desperate to wait, it was finally announced that the ice had broken, and now there is active work on introducing a universal login for all Wikimedia Foundation projects (Wikipedia and others). At the moment, the consolidation of accounts in different projects is already working in test mode and is available to administrators. After a while, this opportunity will be available to everyone else.
The very approach of using a unified login for related Wiki projects has shown itself very well on another site - Wikia . Also do not forget about OpenID.
