Tagline will turn studios into industry media

Hello, Habr! Having talked with Sergey Yakubovsky, the head of the “studio rating” project, I managed to find out a number of interesting details about the group’s plans, I think it’s curious:
Sergey said that after the rating of “TOP-100 leading web studios of Runet 2008” and the publication of its results, the project will be transformed into industry media.
Studios that have been pre-registered under the project will have the opportunity to publish their new works, news, materials on the resource. Also, based on the registered companies, a database of studio profiles with advanced information will be created.
Recall that the pre-registration phase ends on March 14. About 500 web studios have been registered so far.
The group plans to implement B2B services within the framework of the project and allow potential customers to publish information about tenders, including filtering their visibility (for example, a tender available only to TOP-100 studios, or only to studios from a certain region).
News feeds from market players will be supplemented by exclusive analytic materials from Tagline.
Sergey notes that in spite of the fact that recently there have been many online publications dedicated to general IT topics (our favorite Habr, Telnews, RICN, Roem, etc.), narrow industry media in the site development market are still critically small and the market is experiencing information hunger.
The task of the group is the formation of a transparent market for the development and promotion of sites and all possible assistance to its productive development and growth.
Sergey noted that the Tagline group expects that turning the resource into a full-fledged industry media will be able to fill information gaps, attract the attention of the professional community to pressing problems, and also help improve the situation in the website development market as a whole.
