Earned more on games than on music

The Entertainment Retailers' Association (ERA) officially announced that in the UK they earned significantly more on video games than on music sales: £ 1.7 billion versus £ 1.4 billion (2007 figures are taken into account). Most of all, money is still received from video / DVD - £ 2.16 billion. The

growing popularity of iTunes and digital distribution in general negatively affect the sales of regular CDs. Now games will join the worst enemies of music stores. Of course, music is still the leader in terms of the number of units sold, but interactive entertainment has advanced in terms of revenue. This is largely due to the high cost of toys. For example, Call of Duty 4, Burnout Paradise or Assassin's Creed for PS3 cost about £ 40.
