Processor update for only $ 30

    Although the topic is not new, I decided to share it.

    It turns out that in her PC, you can safely install a more powerful processor and get a more efficient machine, spending only $ 30 on an upgrade. How it was? Very simple. Using the mmtool utility, you can see what types of processor its PC supports. Of all the options, the most affordable was Celeron ULV PM 753 1.2G 2M L2.

    After installing the processor and rebooting the laptop, the new processor is detected automatically. True, by default I chose the frequency of 840 MHz for operation. Fortunately, it is easily overclocked with utilities such as eeectl.
