Scratches on the monitor - what to do?
Hello comrades. I faced the following problem, I hope someone understands the topic ...
There is a 20-inch LCD monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 205BW). When transporting a car in the trunk of a car in a foam “frame” (without a box) due to sudden braking, the foam broke and the monitor drove along the edge of the computer case on which it was lying. The result is a 5-centimeter scratch on the protective layer, there are no dead pixels on the matrix, but the scratch is naturally visible and interferes.
The question is - is it possible to somehow "close up" it? Is there a polishing agent in nature that can restore the transparency of a protective layer?
