LinkedIn will be blocked in RF

By decision of the Tagansky District Court of Moscow, LinkedIn will be blocked in Russia. The relevant decision was made on the statement of claim of Roskomnadzor.
Apparently the dying professional social network was chosen by Roskomnadzor as a touchstone and may be a signal that there will be further trials of more serious social networks.
The reason for blocking "Izvestia" is indicated by the notorious amendments to the laws "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection", "On Communications" and the Code of Administrative Offenses (CAO), according to which the site, registered as the organizer of dissemination of information, is obliged for six months to store “on the territory of the Russian Federation information on the facts of reception, transmission, delivery and (or) processing of voice information, written text, images, sounds or other electronic messages of the user Lei of the Internet. "
At the same time, the official representative of Roskomnadzor "Izvestia" said:
- We twice sent requests to LinkedIn with the requirement to provide information on the implementation of the law on the localization of databases in Russia - They ignored these letters. In accordance with the requirements of the law, we appealed to the Tagansky District Court of Moscow to block LinkedIn and won the case.
As it became known "b":
In its lawsuit, the department indicated that the collection and transfer of data of Russian citizens, including without their consent (for persons who are not users of LinkedIn), violates the law “On Personal Data”, “the rights and freedoms of a person and citizen, including on privacy, personal and family secrets. ” Referring to the inconsistency of the company, Part 1, Art. 6 and Part 5 of Art. 18 of this law, Roskomnadzor demanded that the court recognize it illegal and oblige to restrict access to this resource. On August 4, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow satisfied the claim, obliging the service to take measures to restrict access to the site and enter it into the register of violators of the rights of personal data subjects.
The trial took place in August (Case number 02-3491 / 2016 ). But the site is not blocked, as LinkedIn filed an appeal to the Moscow City Court.
