On August 23, users of the Mail.ru portal got the opportunity to search in Russian for video content on popular Russian and foreign video hosting sites. Currently, search for video in beta-testing mode.
Currently, the system indexes the contents of nine video hosting sites: Video Mail.Ru , RuTube , Loadup, LiveInternet, Rambler Vision, MyVi, Video.I.UA, as well as part of the videos of Russian-speaking users on YouTube and Metacafe.
The service is carried out by the mechanism of the search engine GoGo.Ru, the first to offer Runet users a video search. The number of indexed videos in the service database is currently about 835,000 files, and the value of this indicator is constantly growing.
