You can report a person’s dismissal in various ways: face-to-face, by phone or by sending a letter by mail. But it turns out that this can be done using the IM client.
The Yahoo portal conducted a survey, which revealed that about 14% of men are ready to inform their subordinates of their dismissal through an instant messaging program using some kind of emoticon. 11% of women who participated in the survey are also ready to do.
