Opera Mini vs iPhone
The Norwegian company Opera with its browser for mobile devices Opera Mini ™ has conceived, no less, compete with the iPhone.
Generally speaking, in the wake of a crazy rush around Apple’s new gadget, any mention of it will surely attract some additional attention, but Opera prepared seriously: they made a video to promote the new (fourth) version . In the spirit of the times, there are two characters in the frame, one from each of the warring parties. But if the confrontation between PC and Mac or RubyOnRails and PHP
quite drawn to the holy wars, the Opera Mini, at least until everyone who wants to buy an iPhone and calm down, does not look like a very rival competitor to the new gadget, since the iPhone is still not (c) just a tool for web surfing.
On the other hand, if web surfing is the only or the main one expected from the gadget, then Opera Mini, indeed, an existing phone that supports Java (i.e. any), compares the possibilities with the iPhone. Unless the screen grows to 3 inches :)
