    1. Apple has released a browser for Windows.The company claims that Safari is faster than all its competitors and supposedly twice as fast as Microsoft Explorer. On the very first day, security experts discovered 18 errors. Updating the program to version 3.0.1 did not save from most critical errors. For example, text in bold is not displayed; when working with bookmarks, as well as when AutoFill is turned on, the browser displays an error message and turns off. In two days, the browser was downloaded a million times.

    2. The growth in the number of mobile subscribers in Russia and Ukraine.The total number of mobile subscribers in Russia reached 158.52 million people, which is 1% higher than the level of the previous month. In May, Vimpelcom accounted for 32% of new connections in the Russian Federation, MegaFon - 22.4%, MTS - 17.9%. The number of mobile subscribers in Ukraine amounted to 51.379 million people. Over the past month, their number has increased by 100 thousand people. Kyivstar accounted for 41.7% of new connections, Astelit - 34.8%, URS - 22.1%, other operators - 1.4%. Outflow of subscribers over the past month was observed only at UMC, the number of subscribers of which decreased by 257 thousand people.

    3. The state-owned stake of Ukrtelecom in the amount of 0.07% of the shares was sold on the stock exchangePFTS at the starting price of 15.525 million UAH. ($ 3.074 million). A 1% stake in Ukrtelecom was put up for auction (the starting price of 1 share was 1.15 UAH ($ 0.23), the nominal price of 1 share was 0.25 UAH ($ 0.05)). The next trading date for the sale of a 1% stake in Ukrtelecom OJSC is June 19. It is planned to sell five one-percent Ukrtelecom packages on Ukrainian stock exchanges during the summer. After that, the sale of a state-owned stake in the amount of 37.86% should follow on international exchanges (50% + 1 share of the enterprise is fixed in state ownership).

    4. Sony Ericsson introduced 6 new phones.Walkman series are represented by models W960 and W910. The W960 is equipped with a touch screen, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 modules, an eight-gigabyte flash drive and a 3.2 megapixel camera. A stereo stereo headset comes with the phone.
