Jacob Nielsen: Web 2.0 breeds useless sites

Jacob Nielsen, a well-known specialist in web design, recently spoke out in the sense that more and more useless sites are appearing on the Internet. Technology Web 2.0, in his opinion, in the pursuit of "bells and whistles" makes resource creators forget about things such as design and usability.

The desire to make everything dynamic possible dynamic leads to terrible results, Nielsen believes. Another unreasonable, but very costly item, he called personalization of sites, which ultimately leads users to beautiful, but useless sites since the dot-com boom of 2000.

The features that should never be neglected, Jacob Nielsen called the presence of a well-thought-out structure of the site, a good search engine, text where there is no jargon or specialized terms, as well as a reasonable combination of dynamics and statics.
