Fighting the crowd effect
It is not a secret for anyone that on Habré user feedback on everything that just moves decides a lot. This is of course a very convenient tool for quickly assessing the quality of articles, blogs and comments.
But this also has the opposite effect of the crowd, when a person begins to focus on public opinion and the number of minuses or pluses already set is influenced by his decision.
You can make the information about the number of votes closed until the participant has voted. Then the number of voters will probably grow (due to curiosity) and the share of personal opinion in the assessment.
In principle, in your personal settings you can enter the options for displaying votes: "I try to be objective" and "Pre-study public opinion."
