Reduce Podcast Bitrate Online

I regularly see in the comments to the podcasts that the podcast is recorded at a too high bitrate and weighs a lot. Inconvenient to download on a slow connection, or expensive with paid traffic.
Podcast authors often don’t want to lower their bit rate. this will degrade the sound quality they've been working on for so long.
I agree with the authors, if there is at least some opportunity to download and listen in original quality, do it. But, if there is no possibility at all, you can call online services for help.
I also want to talk about a solution to the above problem.

For this we will use the site media-convert.com .
I took a 19:23 podcast that was uploaded in mp3 format with a bitrate of 128kbps, and it weighed 17.8mb.
We go to media-convert.com , put the URL icon and insert the path to the podcast mp3 file in the corresponding field.
In the “Input format” field, select “MPEG-1/2 Audio Layer 3 (.mp3)”. The same thing appeared in the “Output format” field, if you need a different format, select the one you need.
Next, put the “I accept the terms” checkbox and click “Convert”.
The site begins to download and process the file. This may take some time.
When the file has downloaded, the site offers to set the bitrate and compression method. The minimum possible bitrate is 32kbps, and we set it. I personally do not see much difference between CBR and VBR, therefore I leave CBR. Click OK.
Processing begins, which again takes some time.
Voila, we get the output file weighing 4.4 MB, click "Download" and download it to your computer.
