Despite the fact that interest in podcasting is growing every day, for some podcasts this was not enough. And they decided to show Kuzkin mother what they are capable of.
The plan was simple: to urge everyone to reach out to buy on the iTunes Store one very specific song from the little-known band “Black Lab”, which, it is claimed, was twice “thrown” by some kind of cool label. And by this (general demand for the track) to show that podcasting is not only another type of content, but also a social movement. In a way that can do a lot, even music charts shuffle. And stand up for the "orphans and wretched".
The action was scheduled for Thursday March 22nd. Results are available on the blog.movement. There are statistics from Feedburner, according to which almost 18 thousand people visited the blog that day, of which almost 95% visited it for the first time. No track purchase statistics yet.
Of course, it is proposed to keep up with progressive humanity. The saying “better late than never” is familiar to the guys.
