On Google’s official blog, Salar Kamangar, vice president of the company, has shed some light on the future of Google Video and YouTube, especially in terms of coexistence and sharing of the features that video users demand.
YouTube will actually concentrate on the online video storage repository service and, in general, will develop in the same direction, providing users with more convenient “broadcast yourself” opportunities ( broadcast yourself - the site’s slogan).
Google Video will join the ranks of other search services of the company and will specialize in searching for video clips all over the Web, regardless of their location. Naturally, Kamangar explains this by Google’s desire to make its search even more perfect and useful.
