Homeless avatar has collected donations for a charity fund

The Spanish charity organization Messengers of Peace has raised funds in the virtual world of Second Life to care for the health and education of a real child.

With the assistance of the advertising agency ArnoldFuel, a virtual character was created, living here and there in a cardboard box. During his "activity" he managed to collect 8 thousand local currency units, which in translation into ordinary American money amounted to about $ 30, as well as several valuable virtual artifacts.

However, the main goal of the organizers was not money, but the achievement of mutual understanding with people, reports Reuters special correspondent in the virtual world of Second Life .
