Amazon will trade digital music
Amazon.com, the largest online retail store, is almost ready to start trading digital music through its own website. According to The Register , company management last week began active negotiations with recording studios.
Amazon spokeswoman said in a conversation with Register journalist that the company is interested in growing the music market on the Internet and considers it to be its area of interest.
Amazon is already a leader in the sale of physical music media across the Web, so this decision has been awaited for a very long time. Such a large delay can be explained by the fact that the company will trade files that are not protected by any DRM tools .
