The chief editor of Radical Politics, Boris Stomakhin, was sentenced to five years in prison for "inciting religious hatred and public calls for extremist activities," RIA Novosti reported .
The Butyrsky court of Moscow found the defendant guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The materials written by Stomakhin were posted on the pages of the website of the Chechen separatists Kavkaz Center. As follows from the court verdict, in his publications, the convicted journalist approved the actions of terrorists who were aimed at destroying the state system.
