Alatau IT Information Technology Park has opened in the village of Alatau near Alma-Ata. The management of the technopark has concluded memoranda of cooperation with a number of world companies, in particular, Siemens, Microsoft, as well as technoparks of South Korea, Egypt and India, Prime-TASS reports .
The construction of the park began in April 2004. Financing for the construction of an object with an estimated value of 3.367 billion tenge (approximately $ 26.69 million) was carried out from the authorized capital of the Center for Engineering and Technology Transfer, formed from the state budget.
