The word "google" is entered in dictionaries
The verb “to google” has joined the verb “to xerox” and is now officially considered the normative vocabulary of the English language. This word is included in a new version of America’s most popular Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary.
Branding words is normal in any language. For example, such words as copier, diaper, adhesive tape (adhesive tape), etc., have long been included in the Russian language. Perhaps soon another new expression that has become common in America will reach us: google on the Internet.
Among the more than a hundred other words that are recognized as normative vocabulary are ringtone, biodiesel and manga.
